In the spirit of resistance Khaled Jarrar speaks out about his refusal of exit, the current situation in Palestine and his documentary film “Infiltrators.”
In spite of Khaled Jarrar’s refused exit via Allenby Bridge, leaving him trapped in the territory he joined us via Skype to answer questions about his film Infiltrators on Sunday, July 20th at 7pm. His inability to come to New York for numerous exhibitions including one at the New Museum has only proven the show must go on as Jarrar made appearances at all his artist talks on Skype.
Jarrar’s film Infiltrators a visceral “road movie” that chronicles the daily travails of Palestinians of all backgrounds as they seek routes through, under, around, and over a bewildering matrix the separation wall, is a debut documentary, the standout success at the 2012 Dubai International Film Festival, winning the Muhr Arab Documentary Prize, the Special Jury Prize, and the International Critics Prize.
